What happened to the good old days when the worst possible incident was falling down and scraping your knee? Now when we fall- we fall hard incidentally scraping our hearts. Every brutal scratch forms a protecting layer of skin, so the next time we try to give our hearts away we must re-open the wounds to allow someone else to try to heal the markings.. Is it all worth it?
